NLT re-joins Chesterfield Champions network
NLT Training Services, a provider of commercial training based in Chesterfield, has re-joined the Chesterfield Champions network, following the restructure of the business over the last 18 months.
With a focus now on the delivery of commercial training, NLT’s board decided that it was the right time to re-join the Champions network.
NLT has been delivering workplace training to individuals and companies since 1968. Although a long-standing and respected provider of engineering training, NLT has diversified its training offering to companies to now include Health & Safety, leadership and management courses and the industry-recognised CCNSG and SPA passports as well as bespoke training.
Within its health and safety course offering, NLT has also recently added a COVID-19 e-learning course to enable offices to safely re-open amidst social distancing guidelines.
As well as restructuring its course offering, NLT has also made a number of new appointments to its volunteer board of directors, including Martin Lovatt from Chatsworth Accountants, Claire Penny from the Voluntary and Community Sector Learning And Skills Consortium, Anna Melton from In the Works PR and, most recently, Simon Winfield, Group Managing Director of Chesterfield-based Phoenix Group.
Sarah Temperton, Chief Executive of NLT Training Services commented: “We’re delighted to re-join the Chesterfield Champions network. We’ve spent a long time restructuring the business and getting it to a strong and financially viable position, which has served us well during the recent challenging conditions brought about by COVID-19.
“We now have an excellent course portfolio which has been developed with the Chesterfield business community in mind. We are looking forward to working more closely with fellow Champions and providing support to the town and communities.”
