Leeds-based renewable energy pioneers rebrand
Planet-U Energy, the Leeds-based renewable energy brokerage, has announced a full creative rebrand following two years of growth from just 1 to 50, and an ambitious recruitment drive for a further 100 employees in its telesales and strategic business development divisions before the end of the year.
The collection of creative materials, designed by local design agency CreativeRace, will provide each member of staff, from business strategy, marketing, sales, HR and finance, a centralised resource to ensure the business is thoroughly aligned throughout its vast expansion.
The dynamic and modern new look for Planet-U Energy reflects the forward-thinking and ambitious personality of founder Grant Nicholson, who despite his rapidly growing team of staff, is still heavily involved in all aspects of the business.
Speaking on the creativity of the design, Grant Nicholson said “The symmetrical brand mark, comprising of a globe shape and a growing plant, symbolises just what we’re about; a clearer, greener pathway to a better future for all. The colours draw inspiration from renewable energy, such as solar power, wind, bio-thermal and hydro power, so it has a much deeper meaning than a fancy logo and collateral to match, it’s a trademark to be proud of.
“Despite our escalating success and the challenges that Covid-19 has brought all aspects of business, our brand values remain very clear and true. Each and every member of staff is encouraged to totally project our brand energy and beliefs, to allow businesses to support the renewable revolution which we are spearheading.”
The company’s success has also allowed for further expansion into one of Leeds most prestigious office buildings, taking 12 staff from Marketing and Strategic Sales into One Park Row, operated by Gilbanks.
Founded in 2018 by 26-year old entrepreneur Grant Nicholson, the brokerage aims to make renewable energy totally transparent, so that every company working with Planet-U Energy can act today, for a more sustainable tomorrow.
Planet-U Energy retain the energy contracts with some of the region’s most prevalent businesses, including; LSS Waste, Quest Solutions, Leeds Rhinos (Headingley Stadium), Imageco and Caddick Construction.
