Multi-million pound print business formed as Sheffield and Sunderland companies merge
A Sunderland print company and a Sheffield firm have announced that they are taking part in a merger to become a multi-million pound business.
Precision Printing, based at North East BIC at Sunderland Enterprise Park, has now joined forces with Sheffield company ProCo and Prime Group in Nottingham, to become the Precision Proco Group, a multi-million pound operation.
The merger will also include the online upload and print portal Where The Trade Buys and North East based digital solutions provider, Climb.
Gary Peeling, group CEO, commented: “Our customers in the main are established brands which are looking to expand their market share through innovation, and businesses who are re launching or developing an e-commerce brand.
“This is particularly relevant in the current climate and we believe that what we can offer through this merger are unparalleled solutions for customers to do this.”
“This is also great news for both our London base and our base in Sunderland as this merger allows us to be part of an organisation which will lead the way in innovation and technology, as well as giving us the opportunity to grow and create more jobs.
“As a company we’re very proud of our success to date and being recognised nationally as leaders in our field doesn’t just reflect well on us, but on both areas where we have such a strong presence.”
