Pegasus Group strengthens Solent team with new appointments
Multidisciplinary consultancy Pegasus Group has strengthened the team at its Solent office with the appointment of an additional two senior professional planners.
Trevor Moody and Caroline Gould have joined Rebecca Humble at the Chandler’s Ford based office, bringing the number of Associate Planners to three. The office is headed up by Senior Planning Director Jeremy Gardiner.
Trevor is a chartered town planner with more than 20 years of experience, mainly in the residential and commercial sectors. He joins Pegasus Group from WYG where he had worked since 2002.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining Pegasus Group and bringing with me a range of expertise which includes site search and promotion; public consultation; pre-application negotiations; political engagement; planning application and Environmental Statement preparation; condition and Section 106 obligation discharge; and appeals.
“My approach has always been to work proactively with applicants and local authorities in order to deliver practical permissions as promptly as possible.”
In 2015 Trevor and a colleague were nominated for Planning Magazine’s Award for Stakeholder Engagement in Planning.
Caroline Gould also joins Pegasus Group from WYG where she worked from 2013. Caroline is experienced in managing multiple projects on behalf of a range of clients, and she is particularly skilled at efficiently managing the planning process from outline planning permission to commencement of construction for national house builders.
She said: “I enjoy working for a multi-disciplinary consultancy, and particularly value the breadth of knowledge that this offers, as well as the opportunity to collaborate on strategies to overcome a range of complex issues and achieve the client’s objectives. I am looking forward to the new challenges that Pegasus Group will offer me and being able to build upon my existing experience and skills.”
Caroline previously worked for Woolf Bond’s Reading office before spending three years living in Melbourne, Australia, where she also worked for an independent planning consultancy.
The Solent office opened in July this year, and Jeremy Gardiner was tasked with growing the business in Hampshire and surrounding counties, while strengthening the Group’s capabilities across the South East region. He was joined by Rebecca Humble in August.
Jeremy said: “Our core discipline here in the Solent office is planning, and I am delighted that we now have a team of senior consultants in place who are able to provide a highest quality service to clients.”
Pegasus Group is recognised as one of the leading national development consultancies. With more than 330 skilled and experienced staff operating from 16 offices across the UK and Ireland, the company’s services span the entire project process through to design and delivery, specialising in planning, design, environment, economics and heritage.
