New concept store and restaurant to launch in Notting Hill
A vintage-inspired fashion brand has partnered with a Latin American-focused food and drink chain to launch a new concept store and restaurant in Notting Hill.
The Sister Jane Townhouse will home the Cha Cha x Sister Jane collaboration – a mixture of daytime and evening menus offering European cuisine with a Latin twist, developed by Head Chef Anthony Garlando, as well as the opportunity to browse the designer’s latest product collections.
Interiors, branding and curation agency Sella Concept was appointed to design the space which is complemented by bespoke furniture, hand-picked, vintage pieces and a 360 degree bar allowing a circular view of the restaurant facility.
The building also benefits from a rooftop terrace and a hidden garden room.
Enrico Ziglio, founder of Sister Jane, said: “Having outgrown our beautiful studio in Portobello Road, we set out to create a new home for Sister Jane. We wanted to create a space that offers both an immersive brand journey and a great place for our team to work and create from.
“Our focus was to generate experiences and entertain and at the centre, we wanted a restaurant. Having met the teamCha Cha, we immediately knew we wanted to create something together. The team at Sella have been masterful at their craft and I have yet to meet a more passionate team.”
Alexandre Santamaria, co-founder of Cha Cha, said: “The Cha Cha X Sister Jane project is a beautiful blend of passion, love and craft. We developed the concept constantly referring to our guests and their way of life. From daytime brunch to evening true party vibe, expect experiences that are quite unique.”
Tatjana von Stein, co-founder of Sella Concept, added: “This is a passion project – pushing our creativity into an untapped maximalist style for Sella, while staying true to our love for 70s forms.
“We have a true inclination for concept spaces which indulge in all the senses and offer the design challenge to seam together a variety of experiences and brands, so we naturally jumped at the opportunity of working with Sister Jane on this project.”
