TransUnion is Proud to Kick Off Another Season of Support for Newly Promoted Leeds United
TransUnion – one of the UK’s leading credit reference agencies and a global information and insights provider – is celebrating the start of an exciting new season in partnership with Premier League football club Leeds United.
Following an eventful year which saw the club pay tribute to footballing legend Norman Hunter with the renaming of the South Stand – sponsored by TransUnion – and despite the challenges the sport faced as a result of COVID-19, Leeds United triumphed with a well-deserved promotion to the top flight of English football after a 16-year absence.
Satrajit “Satty” Saha, CEO of TransUnion in the UK said: “We’re delighted to continue our strategic partnership with Leeds United and to congratulate them on their promotion to the Premier League. This past season has been historic for the club and for the city, and our TransUnion colleagues, both in the UK and globally, have really enjoyed sharing in this tremendous celebration.
“We look forward to an exciting season, both on and off the pitch, as we also continue our work with the Leeds United charity foundation. We’ll be launching a new community project for the year ahead so that we can combine our strengths to teach young people important life skills.”
Paul Bell, executive director at Leeds United, said: “The past year has been an unforgettable one for Leeds United and we’re delighted that TransUnion has been part of this journey. We’re particularly grateful for the support shown in our renaming of the Norman Hunter South Stand in honour of our legendary defender. As we proudly return to the Premier League, we’re ready to take on the challenge ahead and are pleased that TransUnion will continue to support us.”
TransUnion continues to enjoy a range of match day advertising and digital rights, including a presence on the club’s state of the art LED perimeter and crowd-facing advertising boards.
