Anwyl Partnerships secure position on Cobalt Housing’s future schemes Framework
Anwyl Partnerships, specialists in the provision of residential land and build developments, has secured a place on the construction framework of independent not for profit housing association, Cobalt Housing.
The four-year framework will come into effect from the end of September and includes six appointed providers, each of whom have the opportunity to tender for Cobalt’s Merseyside-based design and build future developments. Projects include housing, extra care and community facilities, each with a value circa £4.5m - £9million.
The new framework will deliver Cobalt’s growth ambition, which includes the delivery of 500 new homes by 2023, with commitment to building the right homes in the right places. The homes will replenish stock lost to Right to Buy, and simultaneously meet the ambitions and varied aspirations of their communities and residents.
Tom Anwyl, Managing Director of Anwyl Partnerships commented: “We’re incredibly pleased to have secured a place on Cobalt’s framework. They are a forward thinking and innovative social housing provider whose ethos and vision is very much aligned to our own. We look forward to building and developing a positive working partnership with the organisation over the coming years.”
As a framework partner, Anwyl Partnerships will support Cobalt’s aims to transform neighbourhoods, homes and services and provide affordable, high quality homes in thriving communities where people choose to live and stay. The firm’s appointment to the framework further strengthens their growth within north west England.
Dave Woods, director of operations at Cobalt Housing, said, “Cobalt are delighted to appoint such an experienced group of contractors to our new framework. All have strong links to the north west, as well as a keen focus on social value and supporting local communities. I’m really looking forward to delivering some great development and regeneration projects across our communities using our new framework partners over the coming years”.
