DIY supplier opens in Beverley as part of plan to create new stores before end of year
A new DIY store has opened in Beverley as part of a national chain’s expansion plan.
Toolstation, which was established in 2003, has created seven jobs at its new store on Barmston Road, which opened on Monday (28 September).
The opening coincides with Toolstation’s recently launched catalogue – which DIYers and traders can browse both in-store and online.
The opening of the new Beverley store is one of 60 stores that Toolstation plans to roll out in the UK before the end of 2020.
Howard Davenport Fletcher, store manager, said: “We are pleased to be opening the new store and supporting local tradespeople, DIYers, and home builders in Beverley.
“We recognise the importance of challenging times and are team are committed to providing local customers with a reliable and convenient service.”
The new store will operate a 1 metre social distancing policy and all staff will be provided with PPE.
