Everkool commits to helping youngsters in sport with new wave of sponsorships
Bootle-based air-conditioning firm has agreed to sponsor amateur football and boxing clubs across the city
Everkool, one of the North-West’s biggest air conditioning and ventilation businesses, has announced plans to support young people in Merseyside by sponsoring two youth focused sports clubs.
The air-conditioning business, founded by former amateur boxer Craig Greenwood, will sponsor Croxteth Tigers under 12’s football team and Kirkdale amateur boxing club.
Since the company’s inception in 2008, Everkool has made a significant contribution to local youth organisations and last month announced its support for Trent Alexander-Arnold’s new Football for Change initiative.
Everkool’s Craig Greenwood said:
“It’s a fantastic feeling to be in a position to give back to organisations which do tremendous work to support young people. Both Kirkdale and Croxteth are areas very close to my heart, it makes me very proud that we are able to support organisations in these areas. The coaches within these clubs work tirelessly to give young people opportunities to develop. Personally, I was a beneficiary of this support as a youngster so I want to do whatever I can to ensure that this great work continues.”
Everkool has enjoyed significant growth across the north-west in recent years having won a string of new contracts with organisations including Knowsley Council, Merseyrail and Iliad Group.
