Energy Assets Group announces two senior leadership team promotions

Energy Assets Group, leaders in metering, data management, utility construction and energy network ownership, has announced two Group-level promotions.

Jen Faichney becomes Group HR Director while James Walker is promoted to Group IT Director as the company strengthens its senior leadership team in line with its ambitious growth plans.

Since joining Energy Assets in 2018, Jen Faichney has been instrumental in developing the Group’s HR capability, providing dedicated support across all divisions and locations and introducing an internal recruitment function.

She commented: “At Energy Assets, we understand that our people are central to our success and to the delivery of our vision and goals. As Group HR Director, I will continue to champion our core values, which underpin the processes that support employee recognition, personal development and opportunities for advancement.”

James Walker has led the development and delivery of IT services across the Group for the last six years, during a period of significant growth.

He commented: “Innovations in IT along with a rigorous approach to information security are integral to the success of the business, whether facilitating the delivery of services to customers or enabling employees to work more productively. I am very much looking forward to optimising the value of our strategies in these areas and playing my part in delivering the Group’s exciting plans for the future.”

Welcoming both promotions, Colin Lynch, Energy Assets Group Chief Executive Officer, commented: “Jen and James have consistently delivered excellence for Energy Assets in their respective areas of expertise, the value of which has been evident throughout the challenges presented over recent months. Their knowledge will play a vital role in helping the Group fulfil its potential as we implement our strategy for growth.”
