Wellness firm expands into growing business hub at historic Yorkshire mill
An entrepreneur with a passion for wellness has expanded into a growing business hub in North Yorkshire.
Claire Smith, owner of Balanced Life Physiotherapy, has relocated the business to the High Corn Mill in Skipton.
Chartered physiotherapist Claire has opened the practice, which offers a range of treatments including physiotherapy, acupuncture, aromatherapy, clinical reflexology, sports massage, yoga therapy and rehabilitation.
Dating back to the 12th century, the historic High Corn Mill sits at the heart of the market town, and now houses a range of local businesses.
Claire commented: “I fell in love with the space here at the High Corn Mill. It is located in such a peaceful area and the space will allow me to offer one-to-one rehab for my clients safely.
“I’ve worked for the NHS and in house for corporate businesses, so to have my own practice is incredibly exciting! I’m really looking forward to supporting the local community’s health and wellbeing in what have been such stressful times.”
Owner of High Corn Mill, Andrew Mear, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Claire and her practice into the mill.
“We have a great mix of businesses here, from retail to wellness, health and beauty and I think we offer something a little different - charm and lots of character!”
