Wells McFarlane Strengthens Team With Accounts & PR Professionals
Lutterworth-based Property Consultants and Chartered Surveyors, Wells McFarlane has added to its team with the appointment of two new professionals.
Abigail Wood makes her return to the firm as Head of Accounts following the completion of her ACCA qualification to become a fully qualified Chartered Accountant. Abigail will have full responsibility for the entire accounts function, from managing company, client and tenant accounts to invoicing, forecasting and budgeting.
Speaking about her new role, Abi said: “I’m so pleased to re-join the Wells McFarlane team and see how the business has grown in the past seven years. The timing was right for me to start a new challenge and this role will certainly provide that, with multiple client and tenant accounts to deal with on a daily basis but that’s the interaction I enjoy.”
Also supporting the business is freelance PR consultant, Natalie Keene of Roar PR. Natalie has been appointed to raise Wells McFarlane’s profile across the East and West Midlands through targeted PR, awards, social media and website content. Natalie will work alongside the firm’s three directors to share deals and industry news, company achievements and charity support.
Andrew McFarlane Holt, director commented: “Despite the complexities and uncertainties of current times, the East Midlands market continues to buck national trends and our business had grown to the point where we required additional specialist support. Abi and Natalie are familiar faces to the team, both having worked with us previously, so we know they have the right combination of skills, imagination and enthusiasm to help us achieve further growth.”
Wells McFarlane is based in the Leicestershire market town of Lutterworth and specialises in commercial property management, rural estate management and diversification, and planning and development. The firm has been instrumental in the region’s largest commercial development deals in the past couple of years.
