Yorkshire construction firm announces North East recruitment drive to support growth plans
A Wakefield construction firm is looking to further expand its presence in Yorkshire and the North East.
Morgan Sindall Construction has already hired 20 professionals to its team so far in 2020 and is hoping to bring a similar number on board in 2021 with the aim of driving the firm’s growth strategy.
Morgan Sindall will target commercial, public sector, and mixed-use regeneration projects to meet its growth targets.
The company’s regional team has developed a Next Generation Board as part of its long-term strategy, allowing for insight and understanding on sustainability, social value, and diversity from its younger team members.
In addition to its growth strategy, the company announced that it has become a Living Wage Employer. Andy Hall, managing director at Morgan Sindall Construction in Yorkshire and the North East said “From public-private partnership regeneration projects to new arenas, technology hubs, university buildings and residential developments, future construction projects are going to be instrumental in supporting the short and long term recovery from Covid-19.
“We’re determined to be part of that work and will be supported in doing so by our current recruitment drive.
“Over recent years we’ve delivered landmark projects in our region.
“We now want to build upon our experience on those projects and undertake a greater range of schemes and developments across the region.
“We have exceptional people at Morgan Sindall Construction, and we look forward to welcoming more members of the team that will help us fulfil our vision for work across Yorkshire and the North East.”
