Harley Street clinic to launch COVID-19 testing site with 24 hour lab
An regenerative medicine specialist based in London’s Harley Street has announced plans to launch a new COVID-19 testing facility.
The Regenerative Clinic is set to launch a testing site specifically for COVID-19 testing, which will also feature a 24 hour on-site laboratory.
The new facility aims to guarantee the return of test results with 24 hours, and has availability to deliver test results within 3 hours for PCR Antigen tests, and 15 minutes for the Covid-19 Antigen Rapid Test.
Simon Checkley, CEO at The Regenerative Clinic, commented: “By setting up our own private lab we are helping to circumnavigate the backlog that we are seeing across London, and offer a good value price with the fastest turnaround times available.
“Predominantly, we wanted to increase the ease of Covid-19 testing for our own existing patients at The Regenerative Clinic. Having experienced some delays in test returns from sending out samples to already very busy laboratories, we’ve decided to take the step of investing in our own facility.
“This not only eases the burden on approved laboratories which are used for NHS testing, but will also give broader access to first rate on-site analysis right in the very heart of Central London.”
