Warehouse space brought to market in "strategic" South Yorkshire location
A new industrial development has been brought to market in South Yorkshire as demand for warehouse space is on the rise.
Two industrial units at Parkside Business Park in Doncaster has been brought to market by CBRE and joint agents Gent Visick, on behalf of Heat Exchange Group Ltd.
The new units include the 32,148 sq ft Unit C and the 29,826 sq ft Unit D on the 27 acre business park.
Both warehouse units include ground and first floor fitted office accommodation with Unit C comprising 1,580 sq ft to both floors and Unit D providing almost 5,000 sq ft over two floors.
In addition, the industrial space includes large secure yards, 56 car parking spaces combined, as well as electric car charging points.
Sophie Angus, associate director at CBRE’s industrial team, commented: “The industrial market remains resilient in Yorkshire despite the challenges faced by the pandemic.
“In fact Yorkshire will represent around 30 per cent of all the UK logistics take-up this year, as the region remains so attractive to occupiers.
“With the biggest challenge being low supply levels, these two high quality warehouse units are hitting the market at a time when we are experiencing acute shortages of mid box space of this calibre.
“This is a strategic location in South Yorkshire and will certainly appeal to businesses looking to be part of the Parkside Business Park industrial hub.”
