London travel platform soars as transport firm completes "perfect synergy" acquisition
A London travel platform has announced that it has been acquired by a transport firm as it expands.
Ontraccs, which provides missed flight connection services to travellers, has been acquired by CMAC group, an Accrington company that specialises in helping people who have been trapped abroad make their way home.
The acquisition has been completed for an undisclosed amount.
CMAC transports more than one million passengers each year, and also has sites in Manchester and Nottingham.
Steve Turner, CMAC group’s chief executive, commented: “We feel that this solution perfectly complements our existing transport and accommodation services, and we look forward to our existing customers benefiting from it.”

Ameer Peerally added: “As a one-man band, my growth was limited to a few airports, so joining CMAC, for me, is the perfect synergy.”
