Miller Homes Yorkshire Site Manager Adds Further Award To His Collection

An award-winning site manager, at a leading Yorkshire new homes development and regeneration project, has claimed another award for achievements in his field.

Michael Ramsbottom, site manager at Miller Homes’ City Fields development on the outskirts of Wakefield, is known for the consistent and impressive quality of the sites he manages, and this has been recognized on several previous occasions. Now, the most recent addition to his growing collection of accolades, is the NHBC Seal of Excellence, an award acknowledging his ability to establish and maintain a safe, efficient and high standard site.

“I am thrilled to have our efforts at City Fields recognised and appreciated at such a high level for the second time,” said Michael. “It is a testament to the fabulous team who work at City Fields, and truly demonstrates the pride they take in the quality of our site, the houses we build and the relationships we forge with our customers. I am incredibly proud of the efforts they continue to make on a daily basis and they deserve this recognition.”

Michael received his most recent award at the annual regional NHBC Pride in the Job ceremony which, due to the current pandemic, was held as a virtual event. This is Michael’s second Seal of Excellence, a testament to the high calibre of site that he and his teams create and maintain.

The NHBC Pride in the Job awards are assessed across over 40 areas of site management, including technical knowledge, quality control and the ability to keep consistency throughout the build process. Therefore, to be recognised as highly successful in every one of these sections is an incredible achievement.

Paul Moore, Managing Director, Miller Homes Yorkshire commented; “I think I speak for us all when I say that I am incredibly proud of our City Fields team. They are a shining example of how our care in quality and safety can harmonise into the highest standard of housing. I commend the team and the obvious care they all take in their roles.”
