North East scaleup organisation closes down as coronavirus takes its toll

A North East organisation that aims to help businesses scale up has announced that it is closing with immediate effect.

Business Triage, based in Newcastle, has announced that the impact of the coronavirus has caused it to close trading.

The organisation started up in 2019 with the aim of helping local businesses scale up, with expertise in business strategy to team building.

In a statement today, the company commented: “Unfortunately, as a direct result of Covid-19 and the impact on the Northern business sector in general, the directors have made the difficult decision to close Business Triage with immediate effect.

“The Business Triage website will be inactive as will all email using @business-triage.co.uk addresses as a result.

“It has been a pleasure to meet up with and engage all of the positive business leaders who were getting involved with the concept we’d created and it is hoped those relationships will continue albeit in different circumstances.”
