Security training company Get Licensed celebrates reaching 10,000 Trustpilot reviews landmark

Security training expert Get Licensed is celebrating after reaching a landmark of 10,000 reviews on Trustpilot.

The Kentish Town-based company also boasts a ‘Trust Score’ of 4.8 out of five and an overall ‘Excellent’ rating with the online customer community.

Get Licensed founder and chief executive Shahzad Ali said: “We are hugely grateful to have reached 10,000 Trustpilot reviews.

“It means so much to us that so many of our customers have taken the time and effort to leave a review.

“Since day one we have always been fully committed to ensuring we provide the best quality service.

“Each and every piece of feedback is really important to us and through the process of listening, learning and delivering what our customers expect from us, this has helped Get Licensed develop into the leading booking agency within the security sector it is today.”

Get Licensed - the UK’s leading front-line security training, vetting and staffing platform - was founded in 2007 and has since helped more than 300,000 individuals launch their career in the security industry.

It offers courses including Security Industry Authority (SIA) approved training for door supervisors, security guards, CCTV operators and close protection staff, or bodyguards.

There is also emergency first aid training and Personal Licence courses for those working in the food and drink industry.

Get Licensed has 79 training locations across the UK, from Inverness down to Plymouth, including 22 in London alone.

One customer posted on Trustpilot: “The service provided is brilliant and the venue was very good. The trainers were brilliant and couldn’t do more to help. Very pleased and will start my new job soon.”

Another said: “Great tutor, excellent class…. would highly recommend.”

Mr Ali added: “It’s fantastic that the majority of our customers have given us a five-star rating, but all reviews have been useful in helping us become the UK’s leading booking agency for the security industry.

“And that has meant we have been able to help more than 300,000 people get licensed and get working.”

The company has seen a surge in interest since the start of the coronavirus pandemic earlier this year, with those who have lost their roles in other sectors turning to the security industry for future job security.

Mr Ali said: “You can understand why. Just look at the extra security staff in shops and supermarkets, for example.

“There is a real need for their presence to ensure the public are keeping each other safe by adhering to social distancing and mask wearing.

“There has never been a time where security personnel have been needed as much as they are now.

“There are so many advantages in being a fully qualified security guard. It not only gives you job flexibility, but it also opens up a vast range of opportunities.”
