What can business learn from Lewis Hamilton? We find out with Crowdstrike CEO George Kurtz
What are the ingredients of success?
Formula One racing legend Lewis Hamilton and Crowdstrike CEO George Kurtz get to grips with the nature of leadership, collaboration and excellence – attributes that, when blended correctly, can produce incredible results in sport and in business.
For Hamilton, part of the equation involves taking risks, like when he made the leap from the Maclaren race team to Mercedes. The move gave him the chance to help “build something special”, while forgoing the certainty of winning.
Kurtz, meanwhile, describes the ways in which he took a perceived failure in business and turned it into a positive by launching the leading solution CrowdStrike. Hamilton draws a comparison with his failure to win the World Championship in 2007, which served as motivation for his achievements ever since.
