Tyneside health and wellbeing firm scores with Premier League partnership
A North East health and wellbeing firm has secured an extension of its exclusive contract with a London-based Premier League football club.
Health and wellbeing furniture specialist Mammoth has extended its partnership with Tottenham Hotspur as the club’s Official Mattress and Pillow Supplier.
Based in North Shields, Mammoth specialises in sleep furniture such as mattresses and pillows, designed to provide comfort and support.
The firm, which was founded 10 years ago after founder John Tuton suffered a serious rugby injury, also has partnerships with Rugby Players’ Association, British Athletes Commission and the Professional Cricketers’ Association.
John Tuton, Mammoth founder and CEO, commented: “With their busy training schedules, away games and pressure to perform on the pitch, it’s vital that players at the top of their game enjoy the best quality sleep and recovery.
“We are delighted to extend our partnership with Tottenham Hotspur and look forward to helping the team enjoy greater comfort and support.”
Tottenham Hotspur’s head of medicine and sports science, Geoff Scott, added: “As a supplier that is well-known to us, we are pleased to be continuing our relationship with Mammoth.
“The players and staff are familiar with their products, which provide us with a great base as we continually strive to improve performance and player recovery.”
