Bolton Accountancy Firm’s Rapid Growth Sparks Recruitment Drive
North West contractor accountancy firm, Gorilla Accounting, is actively looking to grow their accountancy team following rapid growth in late 2020, which has continued into the new year.
With a surge of new clients onboarded late last year and in early January 2021, Gorilla Accounting is actively recruiting several new accountants to help deal with the demand and grow the business further throughout the year.
In 2020, Gorilla Accounting filed over 3500 self-assessment forms for contractors nationwide with a further 3000 limited company accounts also managed last year. Early signs this year suggest those numbers could be surpassed, and speaking of the exceptional start to the year, Director at Gorilla Accounting, Daniel Fallows, said: “We have always placed heavy emphasis on being a technology-led accountancy firm, and this inevitably helps us to cope with high levels of demand well.
“We have already seen a huge number of new clients come on board this year, and that inevitably means that we have started to recruit several new accountants for our team to cope with increased demand.”
In Q4 last year, it was announced that Gorilla Accounting was actively looking to acquire accountancy firms from around the North West and has since completed several deals. With the company already experiencing high growth levels in 2021, they are looking to push on with their acquisition trail.
Daniel Fallows said: “We placed heavy emphasis on our acquisition trail towards the latter stages of 2020, and we were pleased to get a few deals over the line last year.
“We are still actively looking to grow Gorilla Accounting throughout 2021 and acquiring small accountancy firms from around the region is definitely still part of our growth strategy moving forward.”
