Headingley site of former restaurant completes office transformation
A redevelopment project in a Leeds suburb has reached practical completion and is ready to welcome occupiers.
ATC Properties has announced the completion of the transformation of 44 North Lane in Headingley into a new office development.
Formerly home to Trio bar and restaurant, the site has now been converted into Grade A office space over four floors.
As well as workspace, the project features electric car charge points in its car park and has bike storage, along with shower facilities, drying room and a communal meeting room.
Managing director of ATC Properties, David Barrass, commented: “We are extremely proud of this conversion, and the end result.
“We have created an ultramodern workspace, reflecting the vibrant and contemporary atmosphere associated with the area. The cycle store, showers and changing facilities have proved particularly popular with people wanting to commute by bike.
“Although initially we were not planning to relocate ourselves, we made the decision to move as we saw the scheme taking shape. There is nothing like it in the area and we feel it really has set a benchmark.”
Joint agents Fox Lloyd Jones and WSB are now marketing the remaining 3,714 sq ft on the ground floor. Director of Fox Lloyd Jones, Nick Salkeld, added: “It really is a dramatic reinvention from Trio to ultra-modern workspace. It has been designed for forward thinking businesses seeking an inspirational working environment.
“It is now a contemporary office building boasting a high specification to meet the needs of the modern-day organisations. This has resulted in positive dialogue with a number of businesses for the remainder of the building.”
