Hudson Welcomes, Bid Writer, Scott Reid

As Hudson continues to expand their Succeed Team, they welcome, Bid Writer, Scott Reid.

On a daily basis, Scott will produce compelling tender responses on behalf of Hudson’s clients. As Hudson Succeed is a multi-disciplinary bid writing consultancy, Scott will work with clients in numerous industries including:

• Healthcare
• Construction
• Creative
• Technology
• Recruitment
• And Facilities Management to name a few.

As a Bid Writer, Scott’s main goal is to help businesses secure the contracts that allow them to grow. This applies to every client that Scott engages with, from micro businesses of two employees to large organisations of 200+.

Scott says…

Previous experience…

Scott is an experienced writer with a Masters degree in English Literature. Due to the research and theory-based nature of this qualification, Scott is proficient in writing about a variety of subjects. This work also required Scott to meet tight deadlines – a paramount skill to a successful bid writing career.

In addition to his Masters, Scott also has experience in writing reports, newsletters and pulling figures together for business intelligence. In a previous role, Scott was responsible for writing a departmental newsletter for employees at Ikea. The newsletter required Scott to compile sales figures and targets, identify best-selling product lines and inform on department-focussed news.

During this time, Scott also acted as the Environmental Sustainability Ambassador. This role required Scott to identify wasteful areas in his department and propose solutions.
