Worcestershire agency offers free marketing support for local businesses to drive growth

Worcestershire creative and marketing agency, Citizen, has been awarded a contract by Worcestershire Business Central to offer businesses across the region free full marketing support.

The support is available through the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership’s Growth Hub, ‘Worcestershire Business Central’, and companies can apply to take advantage of the initiative via a form on the Citizen website. They will receive a minimum of four hours of one-to-one support with one of Citizen’s experienced marketing experts, as well as the opportunity to join a kick-off interactive event online.

The Citizen team has more than 30 years of experience and expertise in all aspects of marketing and has worked with both global FTSE 100 companies such as BT, EE and Europcar, as well as local firms and charities including Wyre Forest District Council and Bewdley Museum.

Charlotte Holmes, client services director at Citizen, said: “2020 was an incredibly challenging year for business, and many firms are still feeling the effects after entering the New year in another lockdown.

“Now more than ever, having a strong and effective marketing strategy in place can really make a difference to a company, and we want to do our bit to support the Worcestershire business community by sharing our knowledge and expertise.

“We are proud to have been awarded a tender by Worcestershire Business Central to deliver this free initiative and would encourage any interested businesses to register as soon as possible as we expect spaces on the programme to be snapped up quickly.”

Gary Woodman, chief executive of Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, added: “We are pleased to be able to offer a series of specialist support advisers for Worcestershire businesses to benefit from.

“This free support will enable local organisations to speak for free with experts such as Citizen, to develop and grow their business. There are five specialist advisers in total and I would strongly encourage any interested companies to speak with the team at Citizen to access this free marketing support, or contact the Worcestershire Business Central team to find out about the other adviser offers.”
