New MD for PAM Group's ToHealth business
Preventative healthcare specialist PAM Group has appointed a managing director of its ToHealth business to spearhead its ambitious expansion plans.
Kerry-Dene Ihlenfeldt has been promoted to the newly-created role from her previous position as operations director in the Warrington-based group’s PAM Occupational Health Solutions division.
She has also been appointed to the PAM Group board.
Kerry-Dene joined PAM Group seven years ago as a trainee occupational health adviser after spending 11 years as a nurse. Before taking up nursing, she worked in health and safety and as an IT consultant.
Mike Fawcett has succeeded Kerry-Dene in her former role at PAM OH Solutions after joining the group from Nuffield Health.
Meanwhile, ToHealth has also recruited Nina Parson as its director of psychology and Dr Sandeep Singh Sahdra as its medical director.
ToHealth provides corporate health and neurodiversity services including employee health and wellness screening, assessments, assistive technology, diagnostics and staff coaching and awareness training.
The business, which PAM Group acquired in January 2019, has 50 staff and posted revenues of £2.1m for 2020. It aims to triple in size over the next few years through organic growth, adding new services and through acquisitions.
Last autumn, PAM Group acquired Scotland-based Concept Northern and has integrated the business into ToHealth.
Concept Northern, which is based near Glasgow, brought a new specialist service to the group offering neurodiversity assessments and assistive technology for people with conditions such as dyslexia, ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome, dyspraxia, autism and Tourette’s.
PAM Group founder and chief executive James Murphy said: “We have ambitious plans to grow ToHealth through significant and continued investment, and Kerry-Dene is the ideal person to take the business to the next level.
“This is her fifth promotion within PAM Group and reflects her proven track record of delivering results, managing client relationships and achieving business growth.
“She was the obvious choice from our internal senior team to take up this new role.”
James added: “Nina is an experienced chartered psychologist who will oversee the clinical delivery, direction and development of our neurodiversity and psychological assessments.
“Sandeep will advise on medical policy and practice and will support the ToHealth team as its services grow.
“Both are specialist clinicians who bring considerable expertise to ToHealth as we build a focused, specialist management team to deliver quality services that are targeted to meet our clients’ needs.
“Mike has a long track record in occupational health account management and is a great addition to the group.”
Kerry-Dene said: “I am looking forward to leading the ToHealth team and growing our business. It’s an exciting time for us, as health has become a core part of people’s thinking over the past year and demand for healthcare has been unprecedented.
“Our mission is to enable individuals to thrive in and out of the workplace by being the healthiest they can be. We are pleased to be a key player in saving lives through preventative healthcare.
“We are confident this year will be one of significant growth in the domestic market, and plans to expand internationally are certainly on the horizon.”
The PAM Group comprises three specialist companies which provide occupational health, wellbeing, wellness and neurodiversity services to the private and public sectors.
These range from absence management, physiotherapy and drug and alcohol screening to ergonomic advice and equipment and psychological services including an employee assistance programme, mediation and trauma support.
It has 32 clinics across England, Scotland and Wales and employs around 600 staff.
