Home and garden brand reveals plans to open Yorkshire retail park store

A UK home and garden retailer is due to open its doors at a Yorkshire shopping park.

LondonMetric has secured a deal which will see The Range open a new store at Kirkstall Bridge Shopping Park in Leeds.

LondonMetric was represented jointly by Savills and Morgan Williams in the deal.

The home, leisure and garden retailer, which has 180 stores across the UK, has agreed a 15 year lease for the store on units 7 and 8 of the park and is due to open this spring.

It will stand alongside existing retailers at Kirkstall Bridge Shopping Park, including Home Bargains, Food Warehouse, and Smyths Toys. The shopping park also hosts leisure operators Costa Coffee and Pure Gym.

Ian Hare, out of town retail director at Savills Leeds, said: “Located within a busy suburb of Leeds, Kirkstall Bridge is a prime retail scheme home to a compelling mix of big names.”

He continued: “The most recent letting to The Range complements the already strong tenant line up and, in spite of the current challenges, we expect to see good interest from resilient, acquisitive brands in the last remaining unit.”
