Waterfront Solicitors advises on major property news deal
Leading corporate law firm Waterfront Solicitors has successfully advised property news website React News on their acquisition by Green Street, provider of actionable commercial real estate intelligence in the U.S. and Europe.
The deal marks Green Street’s second acquisition over the last year, aligning with the firm’s growth plans and strategic roadmap to add more value for clients through enhanced news, research, data, analytics, and advisory services.
London-based Waterfront Solicitors provided a range of services to React News to facilitate the acquisition which included M&A, general corporate, commercial, IT and employment.
“It was a pleasure to work with React News’ dynamic founders David Hatcher, James Buckley, Jamie Hamer and Chris Borland who have a clear vision for their business,” said Waterfront Solicitors Corporate Partner, Angus Young. “We were also very pleased to work alongside KPMG’s M&A team and be supported by Parisi Tax on the deal,” added Angus.
React News’ Editorial Director David Hatcher commented, “Having Waterfront alongside us doing what was the most important deal of the founders’ lives was so reassuring. Their superb attention to detail, hard work and ability to explain and anticipate potential issues, ensured that we achieved the outcome we were targeting. We would highly recommend them, particularly to any fast growing tech or media business. The deal with Green Street has allowed us to take React News to a new level and solidify our position as Europe’s dominant real estate news provider.”
