Warehouse brought to market in Wakefield “logistics and distribution hotspot”

A new 110,000 sq ft warehouse has been brought to market in a logistics ‘hotspot’ in West Yorkshire.

Property consultancies Knight Frank and Avison Young have been instructed to market the warehouse located off Junction 40 of the M1 in Wakefield.

The property, which forms part of the larger Park 40 development on Flanshaw Way, comprises 109,275 sq ft of industrial space, and is currently occupied by Card Factory on a short-term lease which expires in the summer.

Iain McPhail, partner and head of the Knight Frank’s industrial team in Leeds, commented:

“Due to the lack of existing warehouse stock on the market in West Yorkshire, specifically above 100,000 sq ft, there is currently a strong demand for this type of property”
