Planet Mark’s Andrew Griffiths becomes chair of IoD’s National Sustainability Taskforce
Andrew Griffiths, Planet Mark’s director of Digital & Community, has become chair of Institute of Directors (IoD) National Sustainability Taskforce. He is tasked with leading the Taskforce’s engagement with the IoD’s 30,000 plus members and the wider community of business leaders to advance the agenda for sustainable business and participate in COP26.
Also a member of the Sustainability Expert Advisory Group which advises the IoD Policy Team, Andrew is fully committed to engaging with and empowering companies and their people to make year-on-year improvements to their environmental and social impacts.
His appointment is the culmination of a long-standing, active membership of the IoD, combined with his purpose-driven commitment to play a part in the crucial transformation of businesses into pioneers of a sustainable future.
He says, “I’m delighted to have been appointed chair of this phenomenal group of like-minded leaders with a passion for sustainable business. We’re all committed to engaging meaningfully and impactfully with business leaders to play our part in helping to halt the climate crisis and build a better planet and society for everyone.”
