Entec Si finds the best fit in the new world of work
Birmingham-based business change consultancy, Entec Si, is taking an innovative approach to business development. By turning the disruption of the pandemic into an opportunity to evolve, it has created a business plan that best fits both its clients and its employees, while supporting its growth goals.
Going into the new financial year, the business has a strong pipeline of clients across a range of sectors, including local government, not-for-profit and the NHS. This includes a number of recent client wins, including the Heart of England Mencap.
Entec Si’s bold new business plan also includes a focus on mutually beneficial partnerships. Over the years, the business has noticed that while a number of consultancies specialise in technology implementation, very few have the capability to support with the change management elements of the process. As such, it is looking to make the most of its distinct offering by forming strategic partnerships with companies providing complementary services. This will enable Entec Si to optimise the value it provides to clients by helping them to benefit from a broader range of expertise.
From a people perspective, the pandemic has allowed the business to transform its approach to recruitment, introducing another level of flexibility. While geography used to be an important consideration during the recruitment process, the move to remote working has opened up Entec Si to wider opportunities. For the first time, the business is able to decide on the best person for the job purely based on their skills, and experience to give the best blend to support the client’s needs, rather than where they are located. The same is true when engaging with potential new clients.
Eman Al-Hillawi, co-founder and director of Entec Si, said: “The pandemic may have forced many businesses to rethink their plans last year, but it has created an opportunity for us all to improve the way we work for the long-term. Change has become an accepted part of our lives now, and this should be embraced.
“Working remotely has allowed us to focus on finding the best fit, whether that relates to our clients, people or partnerships. Now that we aren’t limited by location, we can deliver exceptional change management solutions to organisations across the UK.”
