Senior hire for fast-growing Octavian IT

Managed IT services firm Octavian IT has continued its rapid expansion by doubling its headcount in the last quarter.

The Nottinghamshire company’s latest hire is Eddie Wolfreys who has joined as Senior Engineer from a competitor.

Eddie will work closely with Managing Director Ben Solomon as the firm looks to grow not only in the UK - but overseas too.

Ben said: “It’s great to have someone of the calibre of Eddie on board - he’s one of the best engineers in the industry at present and we’re very lucky to have him join us.

“Eddie brings a lot of experience with cloud systems and migrating companies with on-premise physical servers into cloud environments

“We’ll be working closely together on Octavian IT’s long-term project and to support the Helpdesk team with escalations. Eddie will also be directly supporting our expansion plans in the USA - we’re very excited for the coming months ahead.”

Octavian IT opened its US office in Phoenix, Arizona last year and has been growing its market share in the country ever since.

The company will also be revealing further new hires over the coming weeks in its Helpdesk team.
