Former London ice factory to be launched to market as creative space
A former five storey ice factory in Central London is being launched to the market as a creative space.
27 Eccleston Place, known as the Ice Factory, will be launched to the market by Grosvenor Britain & Ireland as a new destination for creative enterprise.
The Ice Factory is on the border of Victoria and Belgravia. It was built in 1830 for Singleton’s Ice Company Ltd and has been adapted as a coachworks, power station, and motor repair centre in that time.
The new incarnation aims to reflect the building’s industrial heritage, in addition to having retail and office space, and a rooftop restaurant.
Charles Howard, director of offices at Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, said: “Ice Factory is a hugely versatile space packed with the kind of character and heritage that’s hard to find in the core of the West End.”
He continued: “It’s the perfect base for a single occupier looking for an inspiring space and wider neighbourhood offer that will attract talent and customers and we are already receiving offers of interest.”
