Newcastle fashion retailer aims for expansion following acquisition by US firm
A multinational investment company has announced that it has acquired a majority stake in a North East fashion retailer.
END, a luxury, streetwear and sportswear retailer headquartered in Newcastle, has been acquired by The Carlyle Group, an investment company based in the United States.
The companies have said that the acquisition will support END’s expansion nationally and internationally.
END currently has annual revenues of around £170m, employing more than 650 people in the UK.
Law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has advised END. on the acquisition.
