Jewellery brand launches Notting Hill store as turnover grows to £10m

A London jewellery brand has announced that it is launching a new Notting Hill ‘destination store’ after reaching turnover of £10m.

Astrid & Miyu, which was founded in 2012, has said that the new store is the first in a “run of openings” that make up its 2021 expansion plan.

This comes after a year in which the brand reached £10m turnover, with online sales growing by 50 per cent.

The new store, which will open 15 April on Westbourne Grove, will be the largest of the company’s seven locations.

Connie Nam, founder of Astrid & Miyu, commented: “We’re delighted to be opening a store in the beautiful Notting Hill, where the idea of Astrid & Miyu was born in my tiny flat back in 2012.

“This is where it all began for us so bringing all of our services here just feels right. Many of our current London-based customers either live or regularly visit Notting Hill and the neighbouring brands also have a very similar customer base to us.

“We will be providing our much-loved piercing in beautifully designed studios as well as our popular tattooing and bracelet welding services.

“As well as collaborating with neighbouring retailers, our Notting Hill store will offer space for our Brand Lab mentees to sell their products, including the wonderful Selfmade candles that have already proven popular on our website in the run up to the festive season.”
