Lettings agency sets up camp in Sheffield with opening of first Yorkshire base
A UK lettings agency has announced that it has chosen Sheffield for its first Yorkshire base.
Intus Lettings, headquartered in Manchester, is opening a new office by the Kelham Island district - its fourth office, and first in Yorkshire.
The company said that the new base will strengthen its business in and around the Sheffield area, offering property management services for landlords and rental properties for tenants.
The new office is now open, but is following social distancing guidelines and prospective tenants and landlords are asked to make an appointment before calling in.
Hope McKendrick, head of lettings at Intus Lettings, said: “Sheffield is without a doubt one of the most up and coming areas in the country, with new property developments completing across the area all the time.
“The city has an excellent reputation as one of the best places for young professionals to live, with many of its students remaining in the city after graduation and making it their home.
“We’ve experienced a considerably high demand for rental properties in Sheffield recently, as well as an increased number of landlords looking for a quality lettings agency to handle their property lets. With so much appetite for new properties for rental, Sheffield is the natural choice for our first base in Yorkshire.”
