Legacie marks construction milestone with ‘topping out’ ceremony at Parliament Square

Legacie Developments has marked a major milestone in the construction of its flagship £90million Parliament Square development in Liverpool.

The company celebrated with a ceremony to mark the completion of structural work on the first tower in development which will include 500 state-of-the-art apartments and commercial space across four blocks.

A topping out event, attended by Legacie Developments CEO John Morley and his senior team, and representatives from finance partner RWinvest, took place at the highest point of the development.

The scheme will help transform a major thoroughfare into Liverpool city centre. It will include a public plaza with shops and leisure facilities including a spa.

John Morley, CEO of Legacie Developments, said:

“Today’s event was a brilliant opportunity for those of us involved in creating this iconic residential development to celebrate the progress made so far. Parliament Square will have a massively positive impact in Liverpool by bringing a first class residential offer with facilities like no other. You can see and feel the contribution it aims already making to the regeneration of a key area on the outskirts of the city centre. We are incredibly proud of this development which is Legacie’s flagship residential project in the region”.

The development will be fully complete by summer 2022.
