Iliad announce partnership with national operator Room 2 for prestigious Duke Street hotel plan

Long-established Liverpool developer, Iliad, has submitted plans for a prestigious new hotel development in Liverpool city centre.

The company, which has successfully delivered a number of residential and commercial building schemes across the North West over the last thirty-five years, has put forward plans for a 190 bedroom hotel on Duke Street which is set to continue the regeneration and renaissance of Liverpool’s Ropewalks district.

Iliad is set to invest £30million on the development which has been designed by the award winning Tim Groom Architects.

It will occupy a car park space between Duke Street and Parr Street and a 1950s building which was used as office space and later as a temporary base for a performing arts academy.

Iliad is excited to announce that they have partnered with emerging London-based hotel company Room 2 on the project. It will be the company’s first hotel in the North of England.

The hotel development will also include a lounge, gym, co-working and dining facilities, ground floor commercial space and 38 short-stay car parking spaces.
