New headquarters double office space for Newcastle housebuilder

A North East housebuilder has announced that it is moving to new headquarters after outgrowing its previous offices.

Story Homes, based in Newcastle, is moving from its Panther House headquarters to Scotswood House in Newcastle Business Park.

Scotswood House is nearly twice the size of Panther House, and is managed by Bradley Hall Estate Agents.

Allan Thompson, managing director for Story Homes in the North East, commented: “We have a number of new sites in the pipeline for the North East with ambitious growth plans firmly in place.

“To support this growth we are investing in future talent and creating more jobs in the region, which is why the move to Scotswood House is important.

“Although many of our colleagues are working remotely at the moment, we need to ensure that as things start to return to normal, we are fully equipped to support the new members of our teams as we continue to grow.”

Richard Rafique, director at Bradley Hall Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents said: “It is great to see a North East firm which is achieving impressive growth.

“The success of the firm will encourage a significant economic impact within our region including delivering more quality homes to the market as well as the opportunity to create corporate roles, construction jobs, indirect and induced jobs.

“We were delighted to utilise the full-service Bradley Hall approach on the Scotswood House project, from sourcing the building to negotiating the purchase, providing a building survey as well as lettings and property management.

“We look forward to welcoming more local businesses, specifically exciting startups and SMEs to the upper floors of Scotswood House which is home to Riverview Business Centre.”
