Parcel distribution company delivers on new Sheffield depot
A Yorkshire parcel delivery company has announced that it is opening a new depot in Sheffield after a year of growth.
Courier Logistics, which is headquartered in Rotherham, is part of the APC network and is opening a new operational parcel depot in Sheffield.
The company has said that the 29,000 sq ft warehouse is the first of two depots it plans to open this year, after seeing 24 per cent year on year growth.
Daniel Franey, director at Courier Logistics, commented: “It’s so encouraging to see how businesses across Sheffield have proven their resilience and entrepreneurialism despite the challenges in the last year, with many of our customers thriving.
“SMEs across the region have had to adapt their business models, products, and accelerate their online presence in order to survive in recent months, and continue to do so.
“We are dedicated to supporting their agility and determination, providing them with improved service options and a local team on hand, working hard in partnership with them, to help them flourish in the years ahead.”
