“Glamorous” properties sold out at Islington mixed-use development
A new collection of residential properties at a mixed-use development in North London has been fully sold.
Real estate firm Cain International has announced that its ‘luxury’ penthouse and maisonette collection at Islington Square has completely sold out.
Marketed by Beauchamp Estates, the properties have sold with a combined asking price in excess of £90m.
The collection includes 14 penthouses, which feature bespoke Valcucine Artematica kitchens, marble feature walls, freestanding baths to the bathrooms and a private rooftop garden with an endless swimming pool.
In addition, the collection features eight maisonettes with open-plan living spaces split over two levels, including three double bedrooms with each principal bedroom suite opening onto a private terrace.
Islington Square is a mixed-use development that has transformed the historic Edwardian former Royal Mail sorting office located just behind Upper Street. It offers boutique shops, restaurants and leisure amenities forming 170,000 sq ft of commercial space, alongside 263 new homes and 108 serviced apartments.
Yahya Swallem of Beauchamp Estates commented: “We are delighted with the sales success of the luxury penthouse and maisonette collection at Islington Square which has seen strong buyer demand.
“The glamorous penthouse collection sold achieving in excess of £2,200 per sq ft, with the maisonettes achieving £1,250 per sq ft.
“With the final collection of apartments released earlier this spring this is the last opportunity for buyers to secure their dream home at this landmark development.”
