Landmark Information appoints Professor Robert Lee as ESG Special Adviser
Property and ESG data specialist, Landmark Information, has announced the appointment of acclaimed environmental adviser and lawyer Professor Robert Lee, as an ESG Special Adviser.
Professor Lee joins Landmark’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team of experts, where he will share his extensive knowledge and provide strategic counsel towards the ongoing evolution of Landmark’s ESG products, training and webinars.
Having recently retired from his role as Director of the Centre for Professional Legal Education and Research at Birmingham University, Professor Lee has an enormous wealth of expertise and breadth in the environmental sphere.
He was Professor of Environmental Law at the Environment and Sustainability Institute, University of Exeter, Co-Director of the ESRC Research Centre on Business Relationships, Accountability, Sustainability and Society (BRASS) at Cardiff University.
He is the Environmental Editor for the Journal of Business Law, and sits on the editorial boards of the Journal of Law and Society and Environmental Liability; an honorary life member of the UK Environmental Law Association, where his wider interest lies in regulatory issues around health and environment, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and holds a higher doctorate (LL.D.) for socio-legal studies.

Professor Lee will be chairing a keynote presentation at Landmark Information’s forthcoming inaugural ESG conference ‘ESG Data: Standardisation, Accessibility and Understanding’ which takes place on 24th June 2021. Here, Professor Lee will assess how global data is being used to evaluate ESG risks.
