Reactive maintenance firm expands into new Durham HQ
A North East maintenance specialist has expanded into a new base as part of its expansion plans.
DFP Services has relocated to new headquarters in County Durham in order to accommodate planned growth.
Situated at One West Durham in Meadowfield Industrial Estate, the firm’s new base aims to provide a more spacious workspace for its existing and future staff.
Established in 1993 by Paul Seed, DFP Services began as a provider of maintenance across fire and communications, electrical, mechanical and nurse call.
Since Paul’s son Jon took over as managing director in 2016, the firm has seen a turnover increase of over 89.6 per cent and a staff increase more than 133 per cent.
Managing director, Jon Paul Seed, commented: “I am very proud of what DFP has achieved in recent years.
“With the additional office space, we will be able to focus on delivering larger contracts across the country whilst employing and training more local people.”
