“Back to business” Team building location welcomes back companies with major competition

A New Forest location that specialises in family activities and corporate “away days“ is gearing up to welcome businesses back to the river, with the launch of a major competition to win a team building experience.

New Forest Activities, which is based on the picturesque Beaulieu River, was set up by university friends Sam Sutton and Rich Pearsall, with the mission of making it easy for people to enjoy time on the water.

Moving on and expanding over the years, New Forest Activities is now the largest provider of outdoor activities within The National Park.

In recent years, the team has expanded, along with their offering, which until last year saw team building and corporate away days growing in popularity as busy professionals sought a break from the boardroom whilst developing their team and their vision.

Now, with the UK’s businesses slowly coming back to the office and with a growing sense “normality” returning, New Forest Activities is launching a competition for firms with up to 15 employees to win one of their team-building packages.

Sam Sutton, co-founder of New Forest Activities explains;

“It has been a long road back but we’re delighted to re-open. We’ve already received a huge number of enquiries for our family and friends activity days but even during lockdown we had been receiving enquiries about when our team building days would be feasible again.

“We actually have a major new offering launching in the early summer which is a very immersive experience and at a depth that we have never offered before but right now, we want to keep things light.

“We chatted amongst the team and agreed that we want to help those firms who have teams returning to the office (or perhaps from Furlough). They will be keen to start rebuilding those working relationships that are so hard to foster in the purely online world and where better to do that than down by the river?”

Whilst life on the river begins to return to normal for the New Forest team, the safety and wellbeing of both their customers and staff are of the utmost importance and they have adjusted their activities to reflect this.

This includes the implementation of strict social distancing throughout sessions, as well as the thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all kit after every use.

Whilst it isn’t quite “business as usual” just yet, Sam and his growing team cannot wait to welcome everybody back;

“Outdoor team building activities are a great way to escape the day-to-day office environment. Navigating a river in stable canoes or supporting one another on the high ropes creates a vast array of transferable skills including leadership, communication and teamwork (to name a few!).

So if that sounds like something that your team would love, drop us a line and we will enter you into our prize draw for an unforgettable day out on the river.“
