Tees Valley depot could be transformed following high demand
A depot in Tees Valley that has been recently brought to market has attracted ‘significant’ interest from local businesses.
Thirteen Housing Group is disposing of one of its depots in Middlesbrough and has already generated interest amongst potential buyers.
The depot – which covers five acres – is situated on Middlesbrough’s Cargo Fleet Lane. It is opposite Skippers Lane Industrial Estate, about one mile west of the town centre and close to the A66.
Phil Cowan, Thirteen’s head of commercial property, commented: “It’s an ideal and perfectly located site with a diverse range of potential uses from retail and leisure to light industrial.”
“More than half a dozen possible buyers and agents were given a tour on the first day of viewings.”
Dodds Brown’s senior partner Stephen Brown added: “The market for industrial property is particularly strong.
“This really is a rare opportunity to acquire a substantial site which has potential for a variety of uses. It’s in a prominent position in a popular location surrounded by a mixture of trade warehousing and retail.”
