New 'adventure bar' signs 15-year deal to join London's Ram Quarter
A new concept bar has joined the list of brands set to open at a London retail destination later this year.
Boom: Battle Bar, an ‘adventure bar’ which pairs food and drinks with indoor gaming (including Bavarian axe throwing), has taken a 15 year lease at the Ram Quarter in Wandsworth.
The bar brand, which currently has venues in Cardiff and Norwich, has made the deal as part of its expansion plans, with this being its first London location.
The Ram Quarter is being created by developer Greenland, which is transforming the former brewery into a leisure and retail destination.
Elliott Shuttleworth, CEO of Boom: Battle Bar, commented: “Boom is a concept unlike any the residents of Wandsworth will have experienced.
“There’s a real buzz about the reopening of London’s nightlife, and we can’t wait to get people back together and give them a night out to remember at Ram Quarter.”
Chris Daly, deputy director, commercial, at Greenland (UK), said: “We’re building a really diverse mix of innovative, independent brands here at Ram Quarter.
“As lockdown restrictions loosen, people are looking for something that bit different as a way to catch up with family and friends.
“That’s what Boom offers and given the incredible reception it has had at its first two venues, we can’t wait to see it open its doors to the residents of South London.”
