Leeds engineer set to drive development on new A1 industrial unit
A Leeds engineering firm has announced that it has secured a contract to support the development of new industrial units at a Yorkshire business park.
RWO has announced that it will be providing civil and structural engineering services to business park owner Potter Space to create its new Melmerby unit near the A1.
The unit, which will span 17,445 sq ft, is part of Potter Space’s continuing expansion of its operations at its base near Ripon.
RWO recently took an additional 1,000 sq ft of space at its Park Place office, more than doubling its office capacity to meet demand.
Andrew Fairburn, head of RWO’s Leeds office, said: “This is another prestigious project for us, reflecting our ability to take a strategic view of investment projects from an engineering and design perspective for clients while delivering high quality work.
“Our commercial offering continues to grow, and this new success comes when we will see even more growth in 2021 as we secure new contracts across the region and the UK.”
Jenna Strover, head of commercial delivery at Potter Space, said: “RWO are a key partner and, together with our in-house construction team led by John Royle, will ensure our developments are delivered on time as we continue to invest and expand to meet high demand for smaller industrial premises.”
