HSL Welcomed onto NHS Commercial Solutions Framework Agreement for Provision of Patient Healthcare Communications and Related IT Services

Hospital Services Limited (HSL) will bring its technology-led approach to innovative patient care through its recent acceptance into the NHS Commercial Solutions Framework Agreement for Provision of Patient Healthcare Communications and Related IT Services. HSL’s welcoming into the Framework will enable the leading specialist distributor of medical and surgical equipment, consumable products and healthcare IT solutions to sell its video solutions to the healthcare sector across the NHS in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Through the Framework, HSL will sell its highly secure and innovative Video Conferencing Systems including its bespoke Virtual Clinics which can be implemented by inpatients, outpatients, administrative and clinical services across multiple locations in a way that is easy to understand and navigate for all patients and healthcare professionals for seamless virtual consultation and diagnostic collaboration.

Confirmed as one of only 15 organisations across the UK on the Framework and just two months after the company’s invitation to join NHS Supply Chain’s Medical IT Departmental Software and Hardware Solutions Framework, HSL’s place on this additional Framework reinforces the company’s reputation of delivering innovative, intuitive, and secure IT solutions for the healthcare setting.

One of the largest privately-owned distributors to the health sector, HSL has a rich heritage of supplying market-leading, cutting-edge technologies and solutions to its customers as well as providing on-going technical and clinical support to the end-user. HSL’s partnerships with Zoom, Pexip, Cisco and Poly position HSL well to provide video solutions to meet requirements of organisations through the Framework, whilst bespoke services such as HSL’s Virtual Clinics with Pexip, Savience and Docobo will also bring an added element of innovation to the offering.

Reacting to their invitation to join the Framework, Dominic Walsh, Chief Executive, HSL, said, “Being invited to join this NHS framework is an exciting development for HSL’s East Midlands and Belfast-based teams. We look forward to the added opportunities being included on the framework will open up to our team as we continue to provide bespoke, secure, user-friendly communication solutions to diverse teams practicing across the UK’s health services to help maintain and improve the experience of the medical practitioner and the patient alike.”

Commenting on HSL’s welcome into the Framework Stephen Ellesmere, Senior Project Manager for NHS Commercial Solutions, commented, “We are pleased to announce NHS Commercial Solutions’ new Patient and Healthcare Communications and Related IT Services framework is now live. The framework provides a compliant and quick route to market for a wide range of the latest patient centric communications technologies and expertise across 7 lots. All lots give a choice of direct award or further competition. The framework covers solutions for all public sectors including the NHS.”
