Barnsley furniture manufacturer invests in growth with new production warehouse
A Yorkshire-based furniture and fittings specialist is set for expansion with a new warehouse space.
GMI Construction has been appointed by fitted kitchen, bedroom and bathroom manufacturer The Symphony Group to develop a new 332,626 sq ft production warehouse facility at its HQ in Barnsley.
Designed by architect Garnett Netherwood, the facility will feature enhanced FM1 floor slabs and will be constructed adjacent to the existing Symphony production plant.
The new facility will provide Symphony with much increased storage and production capacity, along with the enabling of key equipment to enable Symphony to fulfil its plans for growth.
