Treetop Adventure Golf tees off in the Bullring
Treetop Adventure Golf Birmingham is ready to roll after opening its mighty jungle doors in the city centre this week. Situated in the heart of the Bullring and Grand Central, the brand new mini golf venue has undergone a £2.4 million refurbishment and will be open seven days a week for guests to turn up and tee off throughout the summer and beyond.
Joining the brand’s other venues in Cardiff, Leicester and Manchester, Treetop’s new Birmingham- location features two indoor 18-hole courses, the Tropical Trail and Ancient Explorer, alongside a Bonus 19th hole – offering guests the chance to win a free round should they successfully score a hole in one.
Throughout the Tropical Trail’s Mystic Wood and the ruins of the Ancient Explorer, eagled-eyed guests can also expect to see several tributes and hidden details relating to famous Birmingham landmarks, such as Birdie Boulevard’s ‘Twee-T Tower’, which is on the main street of ‘Eggbaston’. The immersive rainforest experience also extends across all areas of the venue, including its in-house radio station - Canopy FM – and the Creak and Leak Boatyard repair bathrooms.
Commenting on the venue’s opening, General Manager of Treetop Birmingham, James Scott, says:
“We’re so excited to finally be getting into the swing of things at Treetop Birmingham! We can’t wait for guests to come explore our mighty rainforest.
“Our jungle is open seven days a week for putters of all ages and is suitable for every occasion - from family days out to student hangouts, date nights, work get-togethers and celebrations! Plus, there’s no need to book, so you can join us for a jungle adventure whenever suits you best.”
Helping bring to life its delicious range of food and drink offerings, the Treetop team have partnered with a number of local suppliers including Quarter Horse Coffee, The Brutally Honest Bakery and Birmingham Brewing Company. From fresh handmade pizzas to jungle-themed cocktails and mocktails, guests seeking refreshments will be able to take their pick from the Jungle Buzz Café, Pizza Cabana and The Thirsty Toucan bar within the venue’s dining area known as ‘The Market’.
With Birmingham’s opening coinciding with the recent return of indoor leisure facilities, guest and team safety remains a top priority for Treetop across all of its sites. There will be a one-way route for guests, fewer people admitted to help create more space, and signs throughout the rainforest to keep guests on course and a safe distance apart at all times. The team will also be on the ball with extra cleaning and freshly scrubbing clubs and balls for every golfer.
“We’re extremely proud to be finally welcoming guests into our new Birmingham site at Bullring & Grand Central. We can’t wait to help guests from the West Midlands and further afield create treasured memories together,” CEO and co-founder of Treetop Adventure Golf, Elizabeth Stanway added.
